Through my Eyes

How do we open to the possibility that perhaps we are not right? That we are subject to our own very special and subjective subjectivity. That everything we believe comes from somewhere and needs constant evaluation.

We have been so moulded by TV, the media, corporates. But, vested interests are a reality. Money and power corrupt. Official bodies and organizations can have disturbing agendas. Even statistics can be manipulated. We’re a product of every exposure: some conscious and some unconscious, some for the good, and some for the not good. We live in a world of duplicity, where good and bad are mixed madly into one, and we have to somehow discern. Even within ourselves we have both.

But I see more and more how most people want to do good, they want to help and they want to do what’s best for their children. So we need to know a few things.

Nothing is for sure. Everything is not as it seems. That the world is far more complex than we can imagine. That simply questioning our beliefs and questioning again is healthy. That it’s hard to step out of our paradigm. That we are more similar than different. That there is nothing more important than the state of our mind for it is there that we live life.

May we be blessed to constantly be open and tune back in to truth and clamber back on to the good path time and time again.
